Scholarships NASC 2026
The National Archaeology Conference (NASC) is committed to fostering an inclusive environment and supporting the next generation of archaeologists. For NASC 2026, we are pleased to offer a very limited number of competitive grants aimed at reducing barriers for student attendees.

Equity Scholarships
Covers a full, free registration ticket to the conference (does not include travel or accommodation expenses).

Equity Scholarship Requirements:

Open to any student who identifies as an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person, is living with a disability, or is experiencing financial hardship.

Preference will be given to students who are presenting a paper or poster.

Preference will be given to students travelling from outside the Brisbane local area.

Indigenous Travel Grants
A $500 cash grant to assist with travel costs only (does not include a conference registration ticket).

Indigenous Travel Grant Requirements:

Open exclusively to students who identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander.

Applicants must be travelling from outside the Brisbane local area to qualify.

Preference will be given to students who are presenting a paper or poster.
